The regulations of the Kings League InfoJobs and the Queens League Oysho continue to evolve to bring more dynamism and entertainment to the tournament. That’s why the second Split of the 2024/25 season comes with several updates.

These changes will impact the start of matches, the 1 vs. 1 with a goalkeeper, the restarts in the 18th and 38th minutes, the President Penalties, the Shootout Penalties, and the Dice. Here are all the updates.

Changes to the 1 vs. 1 with a goalkeeper

The 1 vs. 1 with a goalkeeper introduces a new dynamic for minute 00:00. From now on, in the combined cage kick-off with the water polo-style kick-off, players will be allowed to start the play either forward or backward.

Additionally, the goalkeeper will be allowed to leave the penalty area to act as a field player, increasing the gameplay possibilities during this initial phase. However, it will be mandatory to have a goalkeeper on the field at the start of the match.

If unintentional errors occur while putting the ball into play, the referee will stop the game to allow the offending team to restart correctly. However, repeated offenses will result in a goal kick awarded to the opposing team.

Restarting Play in the 18th and 38th Minutes

In the water polo-style restart at the 18th and 38th minutes, infractions such as false starts, boundary crossings, or similar violations will result in the non-offending team restarting play with a kick-off from the midfield.

President Penalties

A notable change affects the President Penalty. If this penalty is not activated before the break in the 38th minute, it will automatically be executed during that break.

This measure ensures that no team misses the chance to use this advantage as happened with Columbia in the Kings World Cup Nations.

Updates to the Shootout Penalties

Another significant update involves the Shootout Penalties. If the ball hits the post directly without touching the goalkeeper and bounces back onto the field, the shooter may take advantage of the rebound to continue the play, as long as time remains on the countdown.

If the ball ends up in the goal under these conditions, it will be considered valid.

Dice Update

The Dice, one of the most distinctive elements of the Kings League, is also getting an update. Now, it will feature duplicate sides for the King (or sponsor), the 2, and the 3.

This means that the only game scenarios generated by the Dice moment will be the 1 vs. 1 with a goalkeeper, 2 vs. 2, and 3 vs. 3, enhancing the dynamism of the matches.

Impact of These Changes

The new rules of the Kings League and Queens League are designed to provide new opportunities and increase the pace of the games.

These modifications promise to deliver exciting moments in Split 5 of the Kings League and Split 4 of the Queens League. What do you think of these changes?
